Bio-NMR: A Great Analytical Tool for Biological Chemistry Figure: 500 MHz NMR at Mississippi State Photo Credit: Fitzkee Lab It has been three weeks since I started my Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry at Mississippi State University. I am learning each day. I started my first laboratory rotation in the department under Prof. Dr. Fitzkee Lab (website: https://fitzkee.chemistry.msstate.edu/ ). It seems to be a great learning experience. I am developing a great interest to learn NMR. I plan to develop my skills in NMR and want to develop my skills in Biomolecular NMR. I have also taken a course related to the Theory of Solution NMR which is taken by Prof. Fitzkee. In that course, I am learning the basic principles and quantum mechanical background of solution NMR. I am finding that NMR is a great analytical tool to study protein and nanoparticle interaction. NMR has applications in many diverse aspects including resear
In this blog, I will share my academic and research journey.
